Mandatory Training

Per SECNAVINST 12410.25 CIVILIAN EMPLOYEE TRAINING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Managers and Supervisors are responsible for: Completing and ensuring the workforce completes all applicable mandatory training.

Mandatory training is defined by SECNAV Instruction 12410.25 as training mandated by executive order, Federal Statute, regulation or at the direction of the Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) and must be recorded in the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS). Required training is training that your Command has specifically said you must complete but is not mandated.

These courses are not serviced by Workforce Development, Commander Navy Region Japan. A list of the current mandated courses can be found here:
