Captain Michael Fontaine

Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo
A native of Michigan, Captain Fontaine enlisted in the Navy in 1995 as a Machinist’s Mate. He was commissioned through the Nuclear Enlisted Commissioning Program at North Carolina State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and graduating in 2000. He holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.

Executive Officer, Fleet Activities, Sasebo
Commander Mariah Rule commissioned via Officer Candidate School in 2000. Upon commissioning, she began flight training and was selected to enter the E-2C Hawkeye pipeline.

Master Chief Alan G. Benavidez is a native of San Diego, California and enlisted in the United States Navy in June 1998.
