Air Operations

Mission:
Our primary mission is to manage and maintain daily airfield operations. To fully support the Air Terminal while assisting military and civilian personnel for leave, transit, travel and TDY. Our mission also includes maintaining and operating ground support equipment for the loading and un-loading of equipment and cargo while maintaining tower operations, airfield arresting gear equipment, the optical landing systems, logistical aircraft with Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and coordinate between Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, HSM-51, and host nation local governments.
