Chief Warrant Officer Brown’s military service began on 17 May 2000 at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois. Upon completion of recruit training, he attended AviationMachinist’s Mate “A” school in Pensacola, Florida.
Brown’s sea duty assignments include Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (HS) 6, HS-14, Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light (HSL) 45, and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 51. His first commissioned tour was at HSM-35.
Brown’s shore tours include Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) 3 and Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment (AIMD) Misawa, Japan and Center for Naval Air Technical Training Unit (CNATTU) Lemoore California. He reported to AIMD Atsugi, Japan in January 2025.
His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards) and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards).
