About HSC-12:
Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWELVE (HSC-12) is the oldest and finest United States Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron. The Golden Falcons are devoted to supporting the capabilities of the Carrier Strike Group, both at sea and ashore. HSC-12's primary mission is to effectively employ the versatility and lethality of the MH-60S aircraft to support the strike group Commander's objectives. The missions include: force protection, special operations, search and rescue (SAR), combat search and rescue (CSAR), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), and logistics; making HSC-12 an indispensable team player in the Carrier Strike Group. Additionally, HSC-12 furnishes one ready detachment to provide executive transport for Commander, SEVENTH Fleet.
