CFAY SECURITY DEPARTMENT VISITOR CONTROL CENTER


The CFAY Security Visitor Control Center, or VCC, is sometimes referred to as the Pass Office. It is located outside Carney Gate, the main gate to Fleet Activities, Yokosuka, next to the Military Police Guard House.

VCC is responsible for Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) registration, issuing temporary passes to personnel and vehicles, and houses the CFAY Security Fingerprinting Office.


Hours of Operation


Contractor and official passes: 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
DBIDS Registration: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Official Visitors Pass Request Form is for commands requesting to escort their command guests on the installation. 
 


 

Expand List item 1484Collapse List item 1484  Pre-Authorized Guest Pass Request

The Pre-Authorized Guest Pass Request is a special request for authorized personnel requesting to bring guests onboard Fleet Activities Yokosuka.

Authorized personnel are asked to bring their guests and allowable IDs to the VCC more than 72 hours ahead the guest's visit on base to complete the registration process.

Sponsors and their guests may then pick up the pass from the installation gate's guard station on the date the guest plans to enter Fleet Activities Yokosuka.

The Vehicle Pass Request is intended for authorized personnel requesting a vehicle have temporary installation access.
 


Personnel requesting to permanently register a vehicle onboard Fleet Activities Yokosuka may contact the CFAY Security Vehicle Registration Office for more information.

Personnel requesting information on the U.S. Forces of Japan Operator's Permit USFJ Form 4EJ, informally referred to as the SOFA Driver's License, may contact the CFAY Safety Driver's License Office for more information.

DBIDS is an integrated Identity Management and Force Protection system developed and operated by the Department of Defense. DBIDS provides installations with a secure solution to register, manage. and control personnel at pertinent levels of physical access. DBIDS registration is required for all U.S. military personnel, U.S. military visitors, and U.S. military family members who need to access FLEACT, Yokosuka. All visitors must be registered into DBIDS upon their arrival to FLEACT, Yokosuka. Please be sure to bring a copy of current orders, TAD orders or letter of employment for registration and pass issuance.
