CFAY Public Affairs operates the Commander's Access Channel, Americable Channel 17-04. The channel mirrors what is shown on the three Outdoor Digital Marquees located at Carney Gate, across the street from Fleet Recreation Center, and in front of the Community Readiness Center (installation of a fourth marquee in Ikego Hills Family Housing Area is scheduled in late-2026).

Requests may be made by contacting the CFAY Public Affairs Office. An online request form is currently in development. 

Please note, all requests to promote fundraising (with exception to NMCRS), ticket sales (with exception to service birthday balls) and all for-profit operations will not be considered.

Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka hosts quarterly Towns Hall in the Ikego Hills Family Housing Area and the installation's Community Readiness Center. One is held in the morning and the other in the evening allowing base community members to choose which option better suits their schedule. Base community members who cannot attend either session, can still review the slideshow and a recording shared on our YouTube channel.

Community Connection Office Hours with the CO is an opportunity for active-duty servicemembers and base community members to schedule office hours directly with Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka in the installation's headquarters building, C-2, on Command Hill. Community members are highly encouraged to submit questions in advance.

Cup of Joe with the CO is a monthly meeting held in the Ikego Hills Family Housing Area. Here, base community members are invited to an open forum discussion with Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka and CFAY leadership from various departments including Legal, Religious Ministries, Security, Housing, MWR, FFSC, CYP, Emergency Management and PAO. 

This meeting is open to all servicemembers and base community members regardless of their Housing assignment or location. 

Personnel who cannot attend but would like to have their concerns addressed publicly, may submit questions to our Flankspeed.
