Serving the base community since 1951, the Seahawk Umitaka has evolved from the official base newspaper into a Python-automated website updating itself using RSS feeds from various commands around Yokosuka including CFAY, Navy Region Japan, 7th Fleet ships and more.

Seahawk Umitaka does not serve advertisements nor store user data. Users can choose to provide an email address and receive a notification when we publish a new My CFAY Weekly, but it's not required.

Commands that would like to participate need to create a DVIDS page and then contact the CFAY Public Affairs Office.
