Public Affairs Office

The Public Affairs Office (PAO) engages in media and community relations with our host country and provides internal command information for our sailors, civilians, contractors and families here at CFAS. The PAO is the official release authority for information to SOFA-sponsored personnel stationed here through various outlets such as as our official CFAS website and social media sites.

The Digital Media Center (DMC) maintains a Facebook site where you can find many albums of photos taken around the base, including event coverage, changes of command, retirements, community relations activities and day to day operations.

Although CFAS PAO is not affiliated with AFN Sasebo, we work closely with their team to share workforce information through their channels (AFN360, 1575 Eagle Radio, AFN social media).
