The Medical Aid Station (MAS) is located within Sembawang housing area in a 2000-square-foot, two-story building, adjacent to the Navy Gateway Inn and Suites. The MAS provides or coordinates primary outpatient medical care, specialty referrals, limited pharmacy, and health-related services for active-duty members and can assist eligible family members in accessing the Singapore Medical System (a center of medical excellence in the Southeast Asia region) through a TRICARE Overseas contract.

Hours of operation are from 0730-1600, Monday through Friday. The MAS does not have an Emergency Room! Personnel requiring true emergency services (loss of life, limb, or eyesight) should call 995 for an ambulance to the nearest Accident and Emergency (A&E) room and then inform the duty corpsman (+65) 9784-8114. Acute care needs can be addressed utilizing TRICARE at the A&E rooms of Mount Elizabeth, Raffles, or Gleneagles Hospitals.

One Dental Officer
One Independent Duty Hospital Corpsmen (IDC)
One Preventive Medicine Technician (PMT)
Three Hospital Corpsman
One TRICARE Benefits coordinator
Dental services provided at the MAS for active duty members include oral diagnosis, preventive services (sealants, cleanings, fluoride treatments and dietary counseling), esthetic dentistry, operative dentistry (fillings), periodontics (treatment of gums and bone),endodontics (root canals), oral surgery and routine prosthodontics (crowns / bridges). Specialty referrals are available. Hours of operation are 0730-1600 Monday-Friday.
Family member dental care, including Orthodontics, is available within the local dental system and is reimbursable by the TRICARE Dental Plan. Contact the MAS Dentist for details of benefits and reimbursement levels.
