Captain Brian Jamison

Captain Brian Jamison grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and enlisted in the Navy in 1995, serving as
a Naval Aircrewman in the S-3B. In 1999 he was selected for the Broadened Opportunity for
Officer Selection and Training program and graduated from the University of Washington with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2001. Following his commissioning in 2001, he
was designated a Naval Aviator in 2003.

CAPT Jamison’s sea duty assignments include deployments flying the H-60F/H with Helicopter
Anti-Submarine Squadron 6, Expeditionary Sea Combat Unit 1, and Helicopter Anti-Submarine
Squadron 11. Additionally, he served as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller/Naval Gunfire
Liaison Officer with the 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company. During his most recent sea
tour he commanded Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 8.

Ashore, he served as an instructor pilot in Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 10, attended the
Naval War College, worked on the Joint Staff in the J8 Directorate, and served as the Executive
Assistant to Commander, U.S. THIRD Fleet and as Assistant Chief of Staff for Requirements.
CAPT Jamison has accumulated over 2900 hours in rotary and fixed wing aircraft and is
qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist and Fleet Marine Force Qualified Officer.
