Ms. Maureen Smith serves as the Executive Director, Navy Region Japan, responsible for resource management and fiscal stewardship necessary to execute shore installation management for Navy installations in Japan, Singapore, and Diego Garcia.
Ms. Smith began her career as an enlisted Sailor in 1983, completing assignments as a Yeoman in the active and reserve service before transitioning to a Department of Navy civilian career in 1991. She has over 35 years of experience working across Department of Defense activities leading and managing manpower and readiness at the joint, service component, and interagency level.
